Lynn Araki-Regan receives Community Award by the Alzheimer's Association Hawaii Chapter

Lynn Araki-Regan, along with her husband Keith Regan, were honored by the Alzheimer’s Association Hawaii Chapter for their dedication and contributions to the community. Lynn, along with Keith and their son Riley, are the founders of the “Kiwanis Kupuna Spelling Bee”. This idea originated during the Covid pandemic, as a way to help seniors stay mentally sharp and to provide a sense of community at a time when this demographic was socially isolated. The Kiwanis Kupuna Spelling Bee has since become an annual event, partnering with other nonprofit groups. The net proceeds from the Kiwanis Kūpuna Spelling Bee supports the Alzheimer's Association as part of "The Longest Day" fundraising event. Congratulations to Lynn and her family!
